      Transitions

      by Aloha Jacqueline

      · Aloha Jacqueline,Soul Poetry

      When desiring

      To create something new

To let go of the old

      No longer working

      Dying

      Patterns

      Habits

      Beliefs

      Identities

      Stories

      Let us take a moment

      To appreciate

      How we got here

      How these served us

      At some point

      At one time

      And express gratitude

For even the parts of ourselves

We no longer wish to carry forward.

      Honor the past

      Thank yourself

      Thank life

      And allow

      The metamorphosis.
