Sometimes,
I feel full.
Not stomach full,
But head full.
And with a head full,
My mind feels
Confused,
Conflicted,
Complicated
Something in me needing clarity.
Over the years, 
I discovered,
That
Writing poetry,
Helps me!
The structure,
The rhythm,
The pace
The process
Of words pouring out of me,
Gets things out of my head,
Including getting
ME,
out of my head!
The energy flowing
Through my hands 
and fingers,
Whether I'm typing, 
or writing,
Moving
Expressing
Makes space
Inside of me.
To observe,
More clearly,
What wants to be seen.
What wants to be read.
To open me up,
A little bit more.
As the words,
Fall out of me.
They bring a smile to my face,
Because their wisdom,
Was even unknown to me.

Until they were seen,
By my own eyes.
Felt my own hands.
This magical,
Mystical experience,
That I wish everyone could experience.

I find myself,
Relieved,
Happier,
Healthier,
In some way,
For taking a moment,
To slow down,
To breathe,
To visit my inner world,
Giving attention
And a little more trust
To myself.

And EVERY time I do...
I receive.
I receive!
